Lutheran Worship Service
Lutheran worship is a contemporary expression of the church's ancient traditions of worship. In our congregation, several worship formats are used, including the Service of Holy Communion and the Service of the Word, the Rejoice service of Holy Communion and the Rejoice Service of the Word.
Focus in each service is on the good news, the Gospel. The Gospel is the story of how God sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to redeem a sinful world by giving his life on the cross.
Through Bible readings, the sermon and music, the powerful truth of God's never-failing love is applied to our lives. We, the forgiven, are empowered by the Holy Spirit for living our lives with praise and thanksgiving. All of our life and our worship begins and ends with him.
“In him we live and move and have our being.” Acts 17:28
