"Kids for Christ"(KFC)-a youth group for third- through fifth-graders. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. We have Bible study, a snack, crafts and other activities. The youth may ride bus #7 from Koch School to the church. The youth are invited to bring along a friend. |
Junior and Senior Lutheran Youth Fellowship (Junior LYF, Senior LYF)- youth groups for sixth- through eighth-graders and ninth- through 12th-graders. We try to meet at least once each month. Some meetings are combined groups and some are group specific. These meetings will consist of God's Word, activities and food! These youth are also encouraged to bring friends along to join in the fellowship. Some of the activities done in the past are leaf raking; scavenger hunts; food drives; nursing home and shut-in visits; Christmas caroling; bowling parties; lock-ins; sledding parties; Valentine’s Day suppers; Easter breakfasts; Sunday morning coffee hours; church, community and statewide servant events; national youth gatherings, and Lutheran camps. |
Sunday school for nursery through 12th grade September through May. Kelly Hilbrands is the new superintendent.
Vacation Bible school normally one week during the summer.
Confirmation classes for fifth- through eighth-grade youth on Wednesday afternoons September through April.
Emanuel Lutheran Preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds. Morning and afternoon classes available. The preschool follows the Milbank School schedule. |

We need a seventh-grade Sunday school teacher to succeed Kelly Hilbrands, as she has been promoted to superintendent. If interested, talk to Kelly. |
National Youth Gathering 2013:
Seventh- through 11th-graders: Are you interested in attending the National Youth Gathering in San Antonio in early July 2013? If so, let Tom Mueller know by Feb. 15 so we can plan fund-raising activities. |
No Valentine’s Supper:
Due to the construction work, we will not have a Valentine’s supper this year, nor will we serve Lenten suppers. We are grateful for your support in the past and look forward to your support in the future. |
